This was created as many of my customers (and soon to be customers!) are also exercising and looking for a high protein vegan blend that also contained the same quality ingredients as used in the Yeppoonie Smoothie blends. The philosophy is the same as the other blends, all natural ingredients, organic where possible, vegan, with a good amount of fibre also. How does it taste? This blend has a cocoa flavour but the pumpkin seed is also prominent and compliments it nicely. As per all my blends, no flavourings are added so the flavour comes from the actual ingredients used. I only use high quality ingredients and in good quantity, so you receive maximum benefits, no cheap fillers are used. What does it do? The ingredients were selected in this blend due to the benefits they provide the body post-exercise. It may be consumed before exercise if preferred. They assist with muscle recovery and energy, and the faba protein in the blend contains all 9 essential amino acids which cannot be produced by our bodies, Aussie grown Faba is a very high quality, clean, Aussie Grown protein source. Pumpkin seed and sunflower seeds contain zinc and other vitamins which aid muscle building/repair. How to make? Add to your smoothie with milk or milk and half water. Ideas for fruit additions include frozen berries and bananas as per usual, also you can try greens such as spinach leaves, avocado and even beetroot.
