His work is featured in private collec tions internationally, and he has participated in a number of group shows domestically. In his work, Lance explores his fascination with masculine roles and relationships. Often, the men in his paintings are engaged in struggle, or isolated as objects of desire. His compositions feature single and multiple figures set against stark, abstracted environments.
