How to Use Use one ounce of this tea per pint of water. Add herbs to the water and bring to a boil. Cover, turn off the heat, and let steep for 30 minutes or longer. Strain well to ensure there is no plant material or particles in the liquid. Fill a bathtub up with enough water to comfortably cover the tender areas. Add the steeped and strained sitz bath decoction directly to a bath. Sit in the bath for 20 minutes or more twice per day, for as many days as desired.
