Nobue Ibaraki's collection of earthenware works is all hand-built with natural glazes that evoke buried treasure. No two works are alike. The slight metallic appearance is the resu lt of the chemical reaction to the firing, obtained with glazes containing cobalt or copper and clays composed of other metals as well.
