“Daydawn” is a bushy deciduous shrub with a spreading growth habit. It has small, dark-green pinnate leaves which are in groups of 5 or 7 leaflets, with each leaflet approximately 4 cm in length. Generally, prefers full sun to partially shaded areas. This species usually produces several flowers on cymes. Although it enjoys the sun, it can tolerate the shade. Full sun will decrease the longevity of flower life. The flowers are saucer-shaped, and each petal typically has light yellow in the centre, surrounded by a peach-coloured fringe. Each flower is approximately 4 cm in diameter. Remove dead or unwanted branches at the end of the season or at the onset of spring.
