Oil on Canvas - 18x362024 Framed. Inspired by Harry Potter, a theme of imagination and longing for a world of fantasy. J.K. Rowling once said “something very magical can happen whe n you read a good book” and this is exactly the aftermath of that. This painting reflects a vision I saw and recreated it instantly. It was one of those paintings I just knew I had to create, and saw it before the canvas was even bought. Looser brush strokes were used to create the different objects. This painting holds many layers including a layer of sienna, to create the illusion of the warm light behind the objects.
