Suitable for: complete beginners and anyone who simply wants to give pottery a try No previous experience is needed. You’ll work with prepared, pre-centred clay, allowing you to fo cus on learning the basic techniques of wheel throwing. The course is divided into two sessions: Part A: wheel throwing (~2.5 hours) Part B: painting and/or glazing (~2.5 hours) During the course, you’ll try: opening up the clay and pulling up the walls creating simple bowls or vessels painting bisque-fired pieces with underglaze colours and/or glazing them The second session takes place after your pieces have dried and been bisque-fired. You’ll create 1–2 finished pieces, which will be ready to collect after their final firing. Show more
