A story woven in thread This poetic zip pouch is part of the collaboration between Japanese poet–illustrator moritaMiW and textile maker Kusubashi Monori. Together, they bring to life small creatures from MiW’s illustrated world—where even a weevil becomes a character full of wonder. Made from woven cotton jacquard, the fabric has a soft, dimensional texture with an embroidered insect and signature by the artist. The interior is lined in contrasting satin, and the pouch’s gently irregular shape adds to its whimsical appeal. Its balanced color palette—MiW’s signature blend of earthy blue, brown, and green—feels calm yet expressive.
