Powder Coating - Flat Translucent/Opaque Powder coating is an accessible way of adding vibrant colors to your pieces. Dip or sift colors onto clean metal and bake in a toaster oven . Heat metal at curing temperature of powder coating for 10 minutes before application. Powder coat any metal, fired metal clay, glass, plastic, wood, etc. Flat Clear is a 3% flat/matte clear. This color is a polyester top coat powder coat and has a flat finish. Apply a very thin coat for a translucent look. A thicker coat will give an opaque look. Bake at 400°F/204°C for 10 minutes. The first sample shown is over aluminum. Made in the USA Safety Note: Bake in a well ventilated area. Use dust respirator and eye protection when handling powder.
