Is your stock timing pin missing or broken? Power Driven Diesel’s P-Pump Timing Pin is the ideal replacement. OEM timing pins are expensive. While billet timing pins are available, using one is risky. If the aluminum pin breaks, it leaves a piece of metal behind in the pump. Leaving this broken tab in the pump could cause dangerous governor malfunctions or catastrophic failure. Another problem is that removing the tab usually requires removing the pump. You may even have to send the pump in to a specialty shop for disassembly or repair.
