Powerbase VOC is an innovative multilayered barrier membrane comprising protective polymeric layers on both sides of a hydrocarbon and chemical resistant inner core. It provides exceptional resistance to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and harmful gases including hydrocarbons, methane, radon and carbon dioxide, making it the specification choice for developments on brownfield sites or contaminated land where protection against a broad spectrum of toxic vapours and gases is required. Independently tested to ISO 15105-2 and compliant with BS 8485:2015+A1:2019. Supplied in extra-wide 3m x 50m rolls, offering labour savings on site due to fewer overlaps required compared to standard width membranes. Also functions as a damp proof membrane. Benefits Protection against VOCs, hydrocarbons, methane, radon and CO2 Specifically designed for brownfield and contaminated land developments Supplied in an extra wide 3m roll Multilayered barrier with hydrocarbon and chemical resistant inner core Good to know POWERBASE VOC membranes are joined by conventional thermal (hot air/wedge) welding equipment to provide overlapped seams for optimum barrier integrity. The membranes can be overlapped and joined using POWERBOND sealing and jointing self-adhesive tapes. Ensure no risk of puncture or abrasion on surface before laying membrane
