The Powerglide Aramid is a two-piece cue with a 3K carbon and composite reinforced shaft and butt, finished with an open weave section through the butt so the carbon pattern is vis ible. Carbon fibre shafts do not absorb moisture, so the cue holds its straightness and stiffness through humidity swings that would move a timber shaft — the practical reason players move away from ash on a travelling cue. Shock-damping 3M foam in the butt cuts the harsh feedback carbon can transmit on a firm strike, and a stainless steel radial pin joint locks the halves with a large thread face for direct power transfer. The shaft carries a matt EasyGlide finish that slides through the bridge with less drag than gloss lacquer, and a copper ferrule holds a 10mm monolayer natural leather tip.
