The Powerglide Target is a 57in two-piece snooker cue with an ash shaft and a hardwood butt carrying a hardwood splice and coloured veneers. The shaft measures 72.5cm and the butt 72cm, so the cue halves down to a length that fits a standard two-piece case. The centre joint is a brass thread, which pulls the halves together firmly and holds that setting through a session instead of loosening as a plain timber joint can. A brass ferrule supports a 9.5mm hard leather tip; a harder tip keeps its dome through more play and needs shaping less often, which makes it a sensible fit for a cue used across snooker, billiards and pool rather than one set up for heavy spin.
