Before refilling, ensure that an adequate seal is achieved between the refill container and the fuel tank of the lighter. Turn the lighter upside down so that the filling valve is facing upwards. Press the nozzle of the filling container against the filling valve of the lighter. Fill the lighter to a maximum of 3/4 of the total volume. Allow the fuel to stabilise in the fuel tank for about 5 minutes, or warm the lighter in your hand to speed up the process. Wait at least 2 minutes after filling before using the lighter. USE Slowly press the ignition button to ignite. To turn off the lighter, release the lighter button. For optimal performance, the gas flow may need to be adjusted. Turn the bottom valve anticlockwise to increase flow and clockwise to decrease flow. Note that if set too high or too low, the lighter may have problems igniting or shutting off the flow when the button is released. The flame is almost invisible in daylight or in bright light.
