This is a print of a painting in the 1st breadth of Powerlines: Powerline Powerline. A standard powerline, first inspired by an alley in Chicago, becomes the sole subject of this piece—stripped of its usual surroundings and set against a solid, electric blue sky. With every usual element that would surround a powerline removed, the powerline stands alone, inviting focus on each individual wire and component. This piece was the initial vision of Powerlines. The catalyst of the collection. *This print zooms into the major substance of the powerline, but the original painting is much larger at 30x40", where the powerlines are stretched across a blue backdrop and slowly diverge off the canvas.
