The lens The PowerShot V1 is equipped with an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that is equivalent to a 17-52mm lens for Full Frame cameras (16-50mm when taking still photos) with an aperture range of F2.8-11 at the wide-angle setting, making it ideal for vlogging without the worry about changing lenses. A built-in 3-stop ND filter is available, for bright outdoor lighting conditions, so you are ready to shoot, wherever you are. Get Up Close Capture subjects in large detail by focusing down to 5.9 inches. This enables richly expressive close-up shots using the wide angle of view and bokeh that a wide-angle lens can provide. The sensor Larger than the sensors typically found on compact cameras, the newly designed 1.4-type CMOS sensor, has 22.3 megapixels for still images (18.7 megapixels for video), giving you enhanced image quality which provides a shallower depth of field, better light performance, improved Dynamic Range and greater ISO performance. Shooting Modes Since this camera was created around the idea of capturing video, it comes with some unique features that enhance your creations. Let’s start with a close-up movie mode for displaying small objects (which the dual pixel AF II will lock onto). Of course you also have Movie IS to reduce camera shake for clear videos, and Smooth Skin Movie. You can also use the standard choices of full-auto, full manual operation, and Shutter- or Aperture-priority exposure.
