Hexagon flowers are great but what about a quilt made from actual flowers, a big burst of colour, something that could be so scrappy that no two flowers are the same. A project where you slow down and remove yourself from today’s fast paced world and work one bloom at a time.In 2023 Sharon finished her ‘Mega Hexie Quilt’ and now in 2024 she is embarking on the journey that is her ‘Memories are Forever Quilt’. Same but DIFFERENT! Swapping the old trusted hexagon for the Lilabelle Lance Creations ‘Indulgence Bloom’ and to create the same look of blooms close together, she has downsized the ‘shield’ shape/ piece that joins the flower so that the flowers would sit nice and close and create a quilt full of fussy cut blooms as unique as the maker.The quilt as pictured includes blocks that have been digitally fussy cut from Tula Pinks upcoming “Roar Range” as well as having a few older prints added to the mix. Sharon will be making her version in real time allowing other makers to join her, create a community, share blocks and have fun creating their own version.Sharon has also made available a video on her YouTube Channel for the piecing of the gentle curves in this project.Included in the Full EPP kit – Full A5 Colour pattern with over 30 digitally fussy cut blooms pictured from Tula Pink’s upcoming Roar Range.
