WechterScheerhorn 9520 Elite.By way of description, This is the Elite model (not China) made by Abe Wechter in Paw Paw Michigan partnering with Tim Scheerhorn. Tim did the final setup after original build, and again more recently. It is set up to his taste. As an R body it has an unmatched sweetness and purity of sound and sustain. It plays and sounds like a "pure Scheerhorn."-Solid highly flamed maple body and neckBlack binding-"f" sound holes-Scheerhorn interior baffle-Ebony fingerboard with curly maple inlaid fret markers-Black hardware and anodized cover plate-Fitted with Solid cast Anderson Tailpiece-Ebony capped Maple Bridge-Bone nut (set by Tim)-1/4" phono jack (no pickup currently)-Condition is fair. As shown in one of the photos, there was a split in the back lower bout (from a on-stage drop) which has been professionally repaired with linen reinforcement and fish glue. It is solid with no effect on sound although shows a varnish crack on the back lower bout.
