The sashiko stitch lines on this 18 blocks panel are printed in wash away ink on navy blue 100% cotton fabric. Simply thread your sashiko needle with some sashiko thread and stitch over the printed markings. When you are done, wash the panel and the print will wash completely away. Press face down with a steam iron on a padded surface. The fabric is machine and dry, colourfast and a nice weight for cushions, table toppers and bag making. It is heavier than quilting cottons and has less drape than the softer tsumugi sashiko panels. 18 blocks that measure 6 3/4" by 6 3/4" whole panels measures 19" X 42" Use it to make a 19" x 42" runner, or use the 18 blocks separately for runners, cushions, quilts etc. Show more
