Beer Style: Dark Beer Type: Belgian Ale Vol.: 330 ml ABV: 10% This complex dark degustation beer was voted best hobby beer in Belgium in April 2011 in "De Brouwland Biercompetitie". A jury with film director and beer lover Julien Vrebos and professional brewers from Orval and Dubuisson tasted the 7 finalists (there were a total of about 100 entries). This is what Paul Arnott, master brewer at Dubuisson brewery argued: "What a ripeness for a hobby beer: a full mouth, rich but balanced, small fruit touch, very mature. A beer to taste! " Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit. The taste is malty and slightly bitter (roasted and chocolate malt), dark fruit, vanilla key, caramel.
