It can help reduce physical discomfort as your baby grows and your body changes, it improves the circulation of blood and lymph, eases restrictions in the hip and shoulder joints, increases the your awareness of good breathing, promotes body positivity, can help prepare for labour and calm any emotions that may arise during this time.Your comfort will be of upmost importance during your treatment and therefore you will lay in a side lying position with plenty of pillows to support you. Laying this way allows for optimal positioning of your growing baby and gives the therapist good access to your body. You can also pay for your treatment on the day. Products: We use only natural, organic and ethical products in our treatments at The White Room that nourish your body and calm your mind. *Some massage oils and waxes do contain nuts in the base, so please be sure to let us know if you have a nut allergy (or other allergies/sensitive skin) before arrival. Medical Conditions: In most cases, Massage Therapy is a very safe and beneficial treatment. If you have recently been through surgery, are in acute pain, are pregnant or are taking any medications relating to a more serious health condition, then please let us know prior to coming. We may just need you to check with your GP or consultation that you are safe to receive a treatment.
