Furthermore, it can be fitted as standard on the Unistock Cattle Squeeze Crate. The Unistock Forward Cattle catch headgate has all the features of the Unistock Cattle Headgate. In addition, it has been designed to meet the needs of farmers who have stubborn cattle, which will not push the traditional auto-catch headgate into the locked position. Many systems available in the market depend on the animal’s movement to drive the headgate into the latch position. However, the new Forward Catch Headgate allows the headgate doors to lie in a forward catch position encouraging the animal to enter the headgate more readily. The uniquely designed latch then takes advantage of the animal’s natural reaction to back away from the headgate- this backwards movement completes the capture process.
