Description of the Premier USB 1200 The USB 1200 is a digital audio system designed for telephone systems that require music, message on hold playback. This system provides MP3 audio which is stored on a removable USB flash drive that is plugged into the USB hub on the unit. The loading of new audio is easily done by "dragging and dropping" MP3 file(s) from a computer to the USB flash drive. The device also includes on-board (internal) flash memory that can store and play a single audio file. Once the MP3 file is loaded, the USB drive can be unplugged from the unit. MP3 bit rates can range from 32 kbps to 256 kbps. No additional software is required when loading MP3 files to the USB drive.
