Why do we believe the 'Dapper Napper' revolutionalises the table cleaning industry? A. Normal table cleaning involves brushing all the dirt and dust to one end of the table, then using an under cushion brush to brush the dirt to one side to fall through the pocket onto the floor and creating dust and dirt on the pocket (which the ball can pick up when potted!) Even worse on a pool table, where the dust disappears into the pocket never to be seen again until the next re-cover! Once the Table is brushed, all the dust that has gone into the air eventually settles back onto the cloth! Then we come out with the napping block and ram all that dust back into the cloth! causing all sorts of deviations and kicks when the balls pick it back up. The 'Dapper Napper' has been tested in our clubs, Locarno Snooker Club & The Shandon Pool & Snooker club (2 clubs same building) in Edinburgh for over a year now, 28 Tables, includes 10 snooker, 16 English Pool and 2 American Pool tables, cleaned 7 days a week! However we recomend changing every 6 months for this amount of tables to keep a top performance from the 'Dapper Napper' Q. What type of cloth has the 'Dapper Napper' been tested on? A. No. 10 Championship cloth as used by WST (World Snooker Tour), 6811 Tournament 30oz, the top standard cloth used in snooker clubs throughout the UK and Strachan 861 powder blue pool cloth. Q. Has there been any adverse effect to the cloth or its fibres? A. No, its been tested on the cloths as said above for over a year now. A bit more comes out of a new cloth as expected, but the continual use we feel extends the life of the cloth Q. How would you compare this with a traditional napping block? A. We sell both, a traditional napping block flattens the napped fibres after brushing, a tried and tested method for years, but it does not lift any dust particles that have settled back down on the cloth after brushing. The 'Dapper Napper' does both, it naps and lifts any excess dust after brushing providing a more level and true surface.
