Aerate your potting mix and increase drainage with this lightweight staple for any plant keeper. A natural, porous soil amendment with water storage capabilities, yet providing exc ellent drainage, it aids in preventing root rot and keeping your plants healthy by providing access to oxygen. We recommend a handful added to premium potting mix for a smaller plant, and an extra handful or 2 for larger plants. As a general guide, 20-30% perlite added to your mix will be perfect for most indoor plants. Medium/ coarse grade perlite is a great all-rounder, and particularly good for finer rooted plants such as peperomia, begonia, rhipsalis as well as many other plants. 150g bags.
