Inspired by a singular recurring dream, the songs form a cohesive, narrative suite that reflects on a crumbling civilization and the pull of an unknown future. The band’s instantly recognizable blend of debonair vocals, darkly witty lyricism, and elegant melodicism is presented with a focused, almost orchestral feel—built around electric piano and acoustic guitar, widescreen electric guitars, and ambient interludes that link the tracks into a seamless whole. Recorded at OneCat Studio in London, engineered by Jon Clayton and produced by Jon Clayton and Bid. The lineup features original member Andy Warren (bass), Stephen Gilchrist (drums), and Athen Ayren (keyboards, guitar), with backing vocals by Alice Healey.
