GatefoldVansire is the dream-pop duo of Josh Augustin and Sam Winemiller, who met on their high school drumline in Rochester, Minnesota and began recording into an iPad in 2015. Th ey built an audience largely online across albums like Angel Youth (2018) and The Modern Western World (2022), a stretch over which their lo-fi bedroom sound drifted toward something dancier and more textured.
