There are two types of demand on our time: 1. demand for our value-added services and 2. demand that arises from processes that don't result in the expected outcomes. When we don't get expected outcomes, then some rework, as well as superfluous supporting efforts, are needed. Reducing the wasted efforts of failure demand makes a firm more profitable, nimble, and engages the team.
