The Pretorian USB Switch combines a low-profile 75mm assistive switch with a built-in USB switch interface. It connects directly to a compatible computer, phone or tablet, removing the need for a separate switch box for the main switch. The function of the built-in switch can be selected using the controls and LED display on the reverse of the unit. A wide range of keyboard, mouse and gamepad functions is available, allowing the switch to work with different assistive technology software, educational activities and switch-access applications. Two additional 3.5mm sockets allow external wired switches to be connected. The built-in switch and each external switch socket can be assigned a different function, creating a flexible one, two or three-switch access arrangement. Adjustable switch-filtering settings can help accommodate different movement patterns. These include options for ignoring accidental short presses, preventing repeated activations, limiting the duration of a press and producing automatic repeated activations. When filtering is not required, the settings can remain off and the unit operates as a standard switch.
