Once spring hits, I can’t get enough of flowers. I love buying them at the local farmers market, picking them from my yard, and I even love just looking at them. So, when I needed to wrap a handmade gift for a friend’s birthday, I didn’t have to look far for inspiration. I just love the way this collage paper looks like vintage wallpaper. It’s classic looking with a little touch of color. After wrapping the handmade gift with white paper, I cut a strip of the collage paper and wrapped it around the package, securing it with tape. Next, I cut some book text to fit inside a bezel and glued it in place. I then wrapped some jute around the package several times before attaching the bezel. To finish, I attached a dried rose bud to the bezel with a strip of washi tape. I thought this was like a bonus gift, as my friend can attach the bezel to a bulletin board or hang it from a doorknob.
