Also known as cactus fruit, prickly pears grow atop the flat pads of the prickly pear cactus and are found all over the southwestern U.S. and Mexico. Available in both red and green varieties, their flavor lands somewhere between berries and aloe. It's sweet, mellow, and quite unique. Our jam is a smooth, vibrant spread made from hand-selected red prickly pears. It has a bold, exotic flavor and a gorgeous ruby color that makes anything you spoon it onto look (and taste) extra special.
