We are so excited to share our new Pride candle! This will be an unscented limited edition release for Pride Month! We will be giving a percentage of our profits to The Naz and Matt Foundation. This charity was set up in 2014 after Matt’s fiancé, Naz (Dr Nazim Mahmood) took his own life two days after his deeply religious family confronted him about his sexuality. As a charity they have won multiple awards for the work they have done! While they support LGBTQI+ persons, they also offer support to the parents, host events, offer legal advice and deliver educational talks within schools to raise awareness and tackle homophobia. Aaram is a South Asian owned small business, therefore this organisation really resonated with us as 90% of the individuals they help are of South Asian heritage. As with all handmade products, small imperfections in colour, size and design may be present, we think it makes each candle we make unique to its owner. This candle is unscented with the purpose of being decorative, that said it is safe to burn, if you wish to do so! Each candle is individually gift wrapped and packaged in an elegant white box with satin ribbon, making it a perfect gift for a loved one.
