In the fully tilted position, calves are easily accessible for branding, castration, injections, or other procedures where restraint is required. It’s important that you DO NOT oil or lubricate the friction locks, as this will prevent them from working properly. The included leg hobble can be used to safely restrain a calf’s rear leg to provide more efficient access for castration by preventing the calf from kicking the operator. When tilted, the bottom panel can be used as a supply tray, allowing you to keep medicine and tools close at hand.
