The Primal RAW Fly Rod is a high-performance freshwater fly rod designed for anglers who demand precision, sensitivity, and versatility. This rod features an earlier model of construction, before the introduction of the Compressed Carbon Chain (CCC) technology, and combines advanced materials and thoughtful design for exceptional casting performance and feel. Key Features: High Modulus Carbon Construction – The original Primal RAW rods were crafted with ultra-high modulus prepreg fibers (65 and 57 MSI), bonded with a strong nano resin. This construction minimized resin content, resulting in a lightweight rod with improved sensitivity and feel. Custom Reel Seats – Equipped with machine-cut skeletal reel seats that feature double locking rings and stabilized timber inserts, combining both functionality and visual appeal. Stealth Black Finish – The rod boasts a low-shine stealth black finish, which reduces glare and enhances the rod’s sleek aesthetic. Four-Piece Design – The four-piece construction allows for easy transport and storage, making it convenient for anglers on the move without sacrificing rod performance. Benefits: Enhanced Sensitivity – Thanks to its lightweight design and high modulus construction, the Primal RAW rod offers superior sensitivity, allowing anglers to feel every bite and subtle movement in the water. Durability and Strength – While light in weight, this rod is built to withstand the demands of freshwater fishing, providing strength and durability when targeting various species. Aesthetic and Functional Design – The combination of the custom reel seats and the sleek finish not only ensures reliable performance but also adds to the rod’s visual appeal. The Primal RAW Fly Rod sets a high standard for freshwater fly rods, delivering excellent performance, durability, and style.
