ABOUT THE ARTIST Jon has an individual way of seeing the world around him. His images and themes usually repeat to form a type of pattern–all manner of elements, objects, and creat ures from the natural and celestial world are drawn in row after row. Often they appear to have been stylized or seen from a birds-eye view. The repetition and linear arrangement create a pictographic effect that begs for interpretation, hints at a story, but never quite reveals the mystery. Show more
