Waxedshine Prime Polish is an easy to use, durable formulation that adds hydrophobic and protection to your vehicle. Utilising Silica (SiO2), Prime Polish creates a great bond to apply Waxedshine ceramic coating onto. It also works great on top of a cured coating to boost hydrophobic effects and also as a standalone sealant. With the use of Silica (SiO2), Prime Polish is a synthetic formula that applies and removes as easy as a traditional wax. The big advantage is Prime Polish can be applied before a ceramic coating or as a coating topper to boost the coating’s characteristics. Prime Polish increases the resistance to cleaners, it adds temperature resistance, UV protection and boosts hydrophobic properties both over a ceramic coating or as a standalone product. Application is the same as a applying a liquid wax, the key is to work one panel at a time and use a good quality plush towel for removal. Unlike wax polishers that cut a portion of the clear coat with each application, add no UV protection and just sit on top of the clear coat, Waxedshine Prime Polish works very differently! Prime Polish Standalone Application If you choose to use Prime Polish as a standalone polish (without a ceramic coating) it has superb characteristics that when applied the formulation works on a molecular basis and absorbs into the clear coat and vehicle paint. This enriches the vehicles clear coat and actually brightens the colour adding UV protection each application. Usually a single polish of the vehicle every month for around 3 months then once a quarter is enough, the formulation absorbs at a set rate with each application so you don't need to apply too regularly or use too much when applying. Each time you apply Prime Polish you add another layer of protection on the last layer so it builds up over time, but you see the results straightaway! One 450ml bottle should last on average two years when applied to a medium sized vehicle. It's important to seal the Prime Polish in with Waxedshine AquaBead. PPF (Vehicle Wrapping) Whether you PPF the whole or part of your vehicle its important to protect the PPF, Prime Polish is very suited at doing just that. As above each application of Prime Polish (thanks to its molecular action) absorbs into the PPF adding UV protection, enriching the PPF to stay supple and not shrink or dry out leading to a longer service life and continued colour brilliance (where a coloured PPF has been used). For clear PPF applications use Prime Polish as a finishing polish before the PPF has been applied and afterwards as above to keep your PPF protected. Again use in conjunction with Waxedshine AquaBead and Silica Soap. HOW TO USE: HAND APPLICATION 1) Apply 4 small dots to a microfibre or foam applicator. 2) Apply to the surface in a thin, even layer. Avoid any rubber/plastic trim. 3) Allow the product to haze up and then buff away the residue with a clean microfibre towel. 4) Seal the application with Waxedshine AquaBead HOW TO USE: DA MACHINE APPLICATION 1) Apply 4 small dots onto a foam finishing pad. 2) Set the polisher to a low speed and do not apply any pressure when applying. 3) Allow the product to haze up and then buff away the residue with a clean microfibre towel. 4) Seal the application with Waxedshine AquaBead
