Cotton Duck (canvas) primed with two coats of Acrylic Gesso. Suitable for oil and acrylic paints, also mixed media projects, banners, backdrops and more. For raw canvas please view here. We roll, as opposed to folding our primed canvas to prevent creasing. Professional technical note: While many oil painters regularly paint on two-coat acrylic primed canvas, it is recommended to apply one or two additional coats to help prevent the eventual (10 years +) penetration of oil through the gesso to the canvas substrate.
