A hardy herbaceous or deciduous Primula which produces long scalloped mid green leaves with prominent veins and midrib. The flowers are borne on rigid stems which have a mealy whit e coating and rise from the centre of each rosette. Flowers can be very numerous and are held in whorls up each stem, occasionally up to 8 in number. Each flower is funnel shaped, and has a scent lasting about one week.
