In a groundbreaking move in 2007, he distributed his new LP, "Planet Earth," for free via the UK's Mail on Sunday newspaper. On July 15, 2007, readers received a copy of "Planet Earth" as an insert. Additionally, Prince orchestrated a 21-show concert series at London's O2 Arena, where attendees were also gifted copies of the album. The immense excitement surrounding Prince's new work led to sold-out shows in the 20,000-seat arena, a record that remains unbroken to this day.
