Antarctic Queen! Prince variscite stone in sterling silver. I paired this gorgeous stone with a chunky reticulated band, which is 1mm in width. By reticulating the band I added some cool texture to it, and no other band will have the same texture. This makes this Prince Variscite ring truly unique! I set the stone off center from the band to make it even more special. Variscite is very similar to Turquoise, except that turquoise has copper in it, and Variscite doesn't. It has the maker's mark of Woodfern Studio (WF) which is my studio. While the piece will still tarnish over time, this is an added protection. Be aware that I apply a patina to highlight details and to give a satin and rustic look to my pieces. A polishing cloth will remove the patina prematurely. Only use a polishing cloth to polish the small areas that you want shiny again.
