They learn that bravery feels different on the inside (fear, self-doubt, anxiety) to how it looks on the outside (confident, powerful, self-assured). So, they shouldn't wait to feel confident. They should act anyway. By learning to acknowledge, rather than suppress, their fear and doubts, the Superpower of Bravery gives kids the courage to try new things and expand their sense of what they are capable of achieving.
