Why We’re Sew Into 'Prismatic': Its bold modernised paisley print that appeals to traditional and transitional designs Its understated palette of light green and navy blue backdropped by a quiet light grey for visual contrast Its crease-resistant and colorfast fabric base that ensures crisp folds and longevity If you love the delightful medley of old and new, this fabric featuring the ancient Moghul motif in a sophisticated navy blue and green palette is a must-buy. Grand cordate leaves engraved artfully with the narcissus shrub and juxtaposed with tiny flowers make for an arresting paisley-inspired window dressing. The scaling and the delicate intricacy doubly ensure that you’re signing in for a statement piece. And what better way to show off your love for oriental vintage art! Stylist Tip: For roman shades, choose the back-slatted style to avoid the slats’ hemlines interfering with the pattern on the frontage. HomeSewn Wisdom: Choose a fitting fold style: Opt for a fold style that performs an aesthetic feat as detailed as the ornate paisley on 'Prismatic' roman blind. So, pick the European / relaxed fold style that offers a luxurious touch with its scalloped bottom edge and sumptuous gather. If this style does not rhyme with your aesthetic, opt for the back-slatted style that will hold out the esteemed pattern like a priced wall art on its slat-free uncluttered frontage. Use trims as a finishing touch: Carry forward the elaborate adornment of the paisley pattern by making the decorative addition of a sumptuous green/blue tassel trim or fringe trim to the bottom hem of your roman shade. Opt for curtains: If you’re dressing windows wider than 96 inches, try Prismatic curtains as a stylish alternative to roman shades. Drapery’s generous dimensions and flowy trails are particularly well suited to wider spans, creating a balanced and refined look. Start with a sample: Screens may lie; swatches don’t. Since colors in images can vary on different screens, ordering a sample of Prismatic is highly advisable. This will allow you to see the colors upclose, and check how the fabric feels to the touch. Complement with matching accessories: For a custom designer look, coordinate your roman shades with other textile accessories in the room. Order matching runners, table covers or cushion covers from us, or buy Prismatic fabric by the yard to create any matching fabric accessory of your choice. The Nitty-Gritty (Made Pretty): Our roman shades arrive with all necessary hardware, so you can skip that last-minute store dash. We include cord lock anchors for child and pet safety, because style should never come at the cost of safety. Each roman shade at Sewn is handcrafted by skilled artisans from India who pour care, precision and decades of experience into every stitch.
