It is meant to make an actual dent out of your fabric stash by using width of fabric or 22" strips in various sizes. There is no need for perfection, matching diamond points, or y-seams in this pattern. It's meant to be a fun way to use your stash without thinking too much. There are 2 versions in this pattern: Version 1 - Strip sets are sewn at random and diamond strips are arranged at random. Version 2 - There are distinct fabrics used for the center diamonds from the "background" diamonds creating a distinct center star. Skill Level: Confident Beginner - It requires cutting and sewing on a bias and sewing with a consistent 1/4" seam.
