Run your filter for at least 6 hours (up to 24 hours for best results), then backwash your sand or D.E. filter — or thoroughly clean your cartridge filter — before introducing PristineBlue. Wait one full day after applying PristineCheck before adding PristineBlue to the water. Spas & Hot Tubs: Add 10 mL per 100 gallons of spa water. Run the filter for 4–6 hours, then remove and clean your filter media before proceeding with your spa care routine. Pro Tip: Use PristineCheck at every pool opening, after any refill, or anytime your source water tests high in calcium hardness. This single step can save you hours of troubleshooting down the road.
