Who this is for This session is for people who feel wired, exhausted, can’t switch off, jaw locked, breath stuck. Desk bound workers carrying tension they can’t release. Especially helpful for women in perimenopause/ menopause who’ve noticed their old coping has stopped working. You’ve done the meditation app. The breathwork videos. The magnesium and the supplements. You’re still waking at 3am. Still can’t take a full breath without thinking about it. My approach I’m a posture expert and yoga teacher of 14 years specialising in body alignment, with qualifications in pranayama from the Iyengar Institute in Pune, somatic bodywork, and massage therapy. I read bodies for a living. The autonomic nervous system, the one that controls stress, sleep, digestion and recovery, shows up in everything from how you breathe to how your jaw sits at rest. Most people never notice. I’ll show you what your body is doing, and what to do about it. What happens in the session We start with a conversation. How you’ve been sleeping, your stress level on a scale of 1 to 10, what brought you in. Assessment based on six different readings and tension patterns in your jaw, shoulders, and the back of your neck. Then we work, based on what we’ve found together. Pranayama techniques to slow and lengthen your breath. Vagus nerve work including bhramari (humming bee breath). Soft tissue release of the jaw, shoulders, and suboccipitals where appropriate. One supported parasympathetic position to anchor the session. Before you leave, we re-check two or three of the markers. You’ll feel the shift. After session you will receive report and a daily plan with three practices to take home, chosen for what your body actually needs.
