If Fridays belong to Date Night, then the rest of the week is perfect for friends. Gather your crew and book a private pottery wheel party at Painted Bayou for you and five friends (six people total). Want to invite more? No problem. We’ll rotate between wheel time and socializing so everyone gets a chance to throw. Additional guests are $50 each, payable the night of the event. Your private party includes two hours in the studio, a guided wheel-throwing lesson, and all the clay you’ll need to create your pieces. After your pottery is fired, you’re welcome to return at your convenience and glaze your work using your favorite colors from our Glaze Garden. Make the evening your own. Feel free to bring food, decorations, and beverages. Yes, alcoholic beverages are welcome. We’ll have cups, plates, napkins, and utensils ready so you can focus on having a great time. A few things to know: • Private parties are ages 14+ due to the mechanical nature of the pottery wheel.• The wheel lesson begins promptly at 6:30 PM and runs until 8:00 PM. If you'd like extra time to eat, drink, or mingle, feel free to arrive early.• Parties that extend past 8:00 PM will incur a $50 fee for each additional 30 minutes.
