A lovely pair of 18th century Italian Baroque console tables adapted from carved gilt and painted wood angels that were originally architectural elements attached to a basilica wal l. Posed on the scrolled halves of a pediment, the winged angels are skillfully carved with flowing drapery and dynamically posed, conveying a strong sense of movement. The serpentine tops with molded edges are of marble. Show more
