This tonearm features a robust aluminum bearing construction that ensures precise, stable, and accurate tracking. With carbon, you get rigidity while keeping the tonearm lightweight, leading to enhanced sound quality. The one-piece arm and headshell design eliminates unwanted resonances, providing a solid connection to the cartridge for better sound. The Pro-ject Debut EVO 2 features an advanced adaptive anti-skating mechanism that adjusts to varying skating forces across vinyl grooves, ensuring consistent performance. Its 8.6” carbon fiber tonearm is both rigid and lightweight, while the CNC-milled aluminum bearing provides low friction and optimal stability for precise tracking. The Debut EVO 2 features a precision-balanced 1.7 kg die-cast aluminum platter with an internal TPE ring that dampens resonances, minimizing wow and flutter. This anti-magnetic platter is compatible with MC cartridges and True Balanced Connection technology. The turntable also includes three height-adjustable damped feet for enhanced stability on uneven surfaces, ensuring optimal sound quality. For added performance, the Record Puck E is available separately to provide extra damping and stability. The new Pick it MM EVO cartridge completes the Debut EVO 2 in all respects. It doesn’t only complement the lightweight tonearm sound-wise, it also looks stunning on the turntable. The cartridge incorporates Ortofon's split pole pin technology, offering a flat frequency response comparable to MC cartridges, ensuring detailed and balanced sound reproduction.
