The WMI Rack 5/4 uses this research to create a design where the shape, size, and angular construction of the steel frames are carefully calculated to prevent the propagation of resonances. Any remaining vibrations are transferred and coupled to the high-mass mounting surface, with solid walls being ideal for providing the necessary mass. The frame’s round D-shape ensures that vibrations are directed to the wall in the shortest and most efficient way.
