Testing included photobiological assessment under IEC 62471 and EN 62471, the internationally recognized standards used to evaluate the photobiological safety of lamps and lamp systems. The lamp was also evaluated for electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements as part of its conformity assessment process.
